Below is a chromatic linking idea counting in groups of 6 notes over an A7 Alt chord.
CHROMATIC RESOLUTIONS ON The OFF BEAT:
This idea relies upon starting the alternate picking by playing off the beat [Missing the first semiquaver]. This creates “Forward Momentum” and puts most of the chromatic notes on the off beat, and at other times creates the illusion of it.
